Ick, i've felt disgusting since about mid-October. Even though i know all of the tools to eat correctly and work out, I chose to ignore them. I have 6 more lbs. on my body to show for it too but I have a plan to get it off and more! I went back to WW meetings on Saturday to a new location over by our new house. My "excuse" for not going was that there wasn't a meeting close to our house. It's true, it's not exactly close but my health and well being is worth a 25 minute drive! So I made the journey and am excited and once again have momentum to keep going! My mini goal is to lose at least 1 lb per week for the first 6 weeks. This would get me down to my lowest weight of the year thus far and still leaves room for me to lose 16 more pounds to get to my ultimate goal. So my goal for the year is to lose a total of 22 pounds. I'm not going to give myself a specific time limit other than for it to be off by the end of the year.
My husband and I have our 5 year anniversary in May and we are planning to go to the beach! My biggest motivation is to lose as much as I can prior to that time but in a healthy and productive way. Overall, I am very proud of myself. I'm embarking on a year anniversary of using WW as a tool to help me over come some of my food issues and i'm starting a new year. I have a great attitude and a plan! I will be working out in the mornings as much as possible rather than the evenings. I think working out in the mornings will help me be motivated during the day to continue to eat the right things, provide more energy, and free up my evenings to relax and enjoy time with my hubby!
Here's to a fantastic 2010!!!!

I've been in the same boat as far as KNOWING what you're supposed to do and IGNORING it. take it a day at a time! i find that when i break it down to one meal at a time, one snack at a time, it's not nearly as overwhelming. GOOD LUCK and happy new year!!
